Hey all, I’m a newbie...

Post by ratbite »

Hey all from Mississippi!
I bought my 1st gun (with the help of my dad) in 1977, and it was of course a 12ga. Wingmaster 870 fixed 28” modified no vent rib plain barrel. The next couple years I shot at many water fowl and other game birds until my skills greatly improved. Took a lot of squirrels and other small game regularly. I killed my 1st deer with it at 16yrs. I have acquired a 20ga. 870 7yrs ago, but I’m saving it to give to my grandson (when he gets a lil older) so he can have his dads shotgun. The 870 is a lot of memories to me.
I’m always in anticipation waiting for the next hunting season.
I reload 13 different calibers plus 12 and 20 gauge. I have several blackpowder pistols, 2 of which have conversion cylinders to shoot cartridges. I also hunt with archery equipment. I’m getting a lil older so I don’t climb trees like I used to so I hunt from the ground or 10-12ft in the tree. I enjoy hunting, shooting, casting bullets, reloading, fishing and a few other things, but God and family have been the most important part of my life.
