Hello from North Carolina,
Now that gun season is over for deer in my area of NC I decided to modify my 870 magnum. I learned a lot from the articles on this board and found it very easy to "customize". Hard to believe its the same gun. I'm finding this addicting and already looking for another 870 to play with soon. Thanks for the great board and information.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm curious, is there a reason you added the tacti-cool breacher choke for your HD build? Or were you just after the "cool points"?

Synchronizor,
I added the new choke mainly for the look factor and to scare the losers that want to date my daughters. haha jk I do want to see how it compares to the rifled choke I've been using with standard slugs for accuracy, recoil, and noise levels. I may add a shorter barrel and a flashlight in the future just for the tactical look and home defense. I'm looking to find another 870 to keep fairly stock just for hunting for next season so I don't have to swap everything back out.
