Joining this group because I need to know if my extractor pin is bent. How do I tell. My 870 jammed.

Are you talking about your extractor plunger? I've never heard of one of them bending; they're so thick and short, it doesn't really seem possible unless you actually take it out and intentionally try to damage it.

You said your 870 jammed. What exactly happened?

thank you for the reply. I've been looking at on-line pics of them and I think it's fine. It just looks bent because of the curve.
