I have been lurking on this forum and benefitting from Vitaly's and synchronizer's (and that of many other forum members) knowledge for quite some time. It's time to join in and see if I can give a little back.

I am an "old goat" who grew up in a rural part of Texas where I gained my interest in various types of guns, shooting and hunting. I've been "inactive" in the shooting realm for quite a few years, but now with the onset of the "empty nest" phase of life, I find myself once again in the thick of it. Wow!! I'd forgotten how much fun it is!

I have found that the Remington 870 is the AR-15 of the shotgun world due to the wide availability of parts and accessories. I enjoy shooting mine at every opportunity.
