Quick update from me. Managed to get the serial number. Appears the shottie in question was manufactured in 1979. Also, it's a 26" version.

All in all I've decided to pass up on it.

Been a while since my last post on this thread so thought I'd come back and share some updates. I managed to find myself a like-new condition 12g 870 Express a month back.

It's in excellent condition and comes with a bunch of extras.

* Tacstar 8-shot mag tube
* Tactical Response High Visibility follower
* Tactical Response Jumbo head safety
* Magpul FDE SGA furniture
* Rear Magpul QD sling mount
* Front Magpul QD sling mount/tube clamp
* Mesa Tactical 6 round saddle with integrated rail
* Magpul XTM Hand Stop Kit
* Magpul Flashlight Rail
