This adapter allows any 12ga 870 stock or grip to be installed on 20ga receivers. While there are sufficient options for 20ga 870s if you just need something functional, many of the fun & interesting stocks are only offered for large-frame 870s. This adapter instantly makes all those 12ga options compatible with 20ga 870s, and - unless I'm forgetting about something - should do the same for Remington's underrated 760/7600-series pump-action rifles. Better still, its $20 price tag isn't all that bad considering it's a Mesa Tactical product.
