How does that hi viz sight attach to the front?

that mod was done by an armorer , he removed the pressed bed sight, then soldered and filed the hole, and tapped it to 6-48...

I like it and it looks good but I don't want to go through the time and expense of going to a gunsmith. I'm thinking about the XS Big Dot front held with epoxy.

Remington 870 tactical bought 2 years ago. I've only changed the front sight for a optic fiber.

And the last one, Remington 870 Wingmaster Police(not sure i am waiting for informations from Remington). But i won't change anything, it looks really nice like this.

So first post ... first gun I've owned.
It is my 870 given to me by my Granddad many years ago.
1962 .20 gauge with a 28 inch barrel and modified choke.

It has taken many a squirrel , rabbit , grouse and clay bird.
I always look forward to taking it afield during hunting season.

I have another coming this week. Supposedly an 18". I also have a +3 coming I bought off glocktalk.
If both the above are accurate I will put this +2 on the 18" and put the +3 on this one.

Started as a stock 870 with 28" barrel and black synthetic stocks. Added a 21" barrel, the Shurshot stocks, drilled and tapped receiver and added red dot sight.
