Snagged an older 870 Express that I wanted to set up as a home use gun. This gun has the aluminum trigger guard, upgraded follower, non MIM Extractor and doesn’t have the dimples in the magazine tube.
First I ordered an 18.5″ IC Barrel.

Length of pull is too long for me to comfortably shoulder so it’s time to chop.

The key to success to competition shooter is to never stop and try new drills, different stances and of course to experiment with equipment.
Benelli Supernova is a great shotgun but it has some things which can be improved. One of such things is slippery forend. It has groves but plastic is slippery, I wish I could get Hogue overmolded forend for my Benelli Supernova, I miss it so much.
By the way, this is one of things why I love my Rem 870, you can choose from hundreds of upgrades! Accessories for other shotguns are very limited.

Remington 870 Tactical with One Piece Magazine Tube
There was one shooter with new Remington 870 Tactical on today’s shotgun training of our shooting club. As you know, new Remington 870 Tactical has long magazine tube which makes feeding more reliable. The only question I have to Remington’s designers is why magazine tube isn’t flush with the barrel.
You will need to use +1 magazine extension to have your barrel flush with magazine tube.
