Here are some pics of my budget tactical 870 build. It has a Streamlight TLR-1 modified so the mount does not sit under the forend, a Remington sling, a Mesa Tactical barrel/mag clamp with quick release swivels, a leapers saddle scope mount and a Barska 1×42 red dot sight (cheap and effective). A Tanks Rifle Supply oversize safety arrived today and a Mesa Tactical low tube telescoping stock kit is on the way. I will be adding a King Armory muzzle brake and a Sage International +3 mag extension asap.

By the way, Vang Comp follower looks like a great addition to a Remington 870, especially with your positive comments. I think I will get one for my shotgun.

what clamp are you using to attach your flashlight underneath like that? Ive been trying to do the same thing but havent been able to find anything.

Hi Cary, It is the Streamlight mount for 870’s. I had to do quite a bit of modification to it due to my short forend. Out of the box it sits very far back over the forend. Let me know if you are interested and I will post the details for you.
