Reputation/Brownell's

Looking to get XS Big dot front sight.Checked Amazon,nothing. Checked Midusa, never had order from them. Brownell's has them for $59.99 including S&H, But reading alot of negative issuses about not getting items or long wait time to receive order. Would like to order Magpul furniture and other items. Thanks

Brownell's is reputable but price is high and shipping is slow. Never had an issue with them but I rarely shop there... Midway is the place to go 99% of the time, they are fantastic and I've never had an issue with them and I have spent more money there than I would admit.

Second for Magpul stuff you can get it off Amazon, fast and decent price. Lastly Primary Arms also carries the Magpul shotgun stuff, PA is my go-to place for AR stuff!

killingjoke, I am located overseas and can use only Brownells to buy upgrades for my Remington 870. I never had any problems with them and that is why I recommend them.

Please note that even small package costs about $20 to ship outside United States. They sent me 2 replacement screws at their cost without any questions.

Got my MESA recoil reducing stock and other MESA products from CMC, lowest prices and fast shipping on in-stock items. They do not sell firearms, ammo, or certain accessories to other than LE, but you can get a lot of good stuff from them.

Just purchased the pin pusher tool, the Vang safety button, and a few other items and the shipment was received in a about 5 days. I thought it was quite good considering the state of purchasing anything related to firearms on the Internet these days.

Although i've only bought from Brownells once, that transaction was great. Like i said on another thread, the great thing about brownels is the service/cust support. I've asked many questions on their site and got helpful answers. I've also called and got transfered to guys who are either gunsmiths, or know about any tech questions you might have. I think Brownells deserves a good reputation, overall.

I've built my entire shotgun w/brownells with no hiccups. I think things just got a little hectic the for a moment during the holidays and height of the "gun&ammo scare".

Thats exactly what Brownells told me last time i called them. All that Gun Scare slowed their shipping, and they were swamped with their Backorders all coming due at the same time when Gun Parts and Accessories started becoming available.
