Board Attachment Quota?

Recently I've been getting an error saying "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." whenever I try to upload an image. I know I'm not exceeding the maximum file size, so my guess is that I've hit some sort of limit on how many files or how much data a user is allowed to upload here.

Is this a total lifetime limit? Or is it a per-time limit (attachments per month or file size per month, for example) that resets at certain intervals? Either way, is it possible to get my quota increased? I can still use a separate image hosting service to put images in my posts, but it's a pain to do it that way.

Thanks guys! This issue had been plaguing me for weeks, i had it blamed on the tapatalk app is use for all my apple products.
