What kind of tools do i need in order to work on an 870?....... Ive decided to take the express to police plunge.

A couple screwdrivers, something to pop out the trigger group pins, and maybe some Allen wrenches if your accessories need them.

If your Express didn't come with a magazine extension and you want to add one, you'll need some extra stuff to take care of that, but it'll depend on what method you're using.

Aside from that, it'll depend on what you're specifically doing to the gun.

I like the Brownells pin pusher:

It makes it easier to push the pins out.

I just picked up an awl at my local hardware store for about $6, it's pretty much the same thing.

You really don't have to have a dedicated tool though, a screwdriver or allen wrench will work fine. You can also use a stick, a pen, whatever you have on hand. I've even used a Tootsie Pop to knock out my pins before.
