Big 5 870 security between $400-$500?!?

So I was just on the big 5 website and figured out that they're selling themfor around $400-$500...... Seems a bit much, no? I checked out the Walmart site but they don't give a price, anyone one if they're cheaper?

Which model is it? If it's a really basic Express, you can probably find a better deal than that. If it's a higher-end package with more bells and whistles, it might be a better deal.

You could also check the local gun shops for used 870s. They're tough guns, and as long as you check it thoroughly for signs of abuse, there are some nice deals to be had.

I've seen the 870 Express at Wal Mart for $299, the 18" barrel model, synthetic stock for $349 also.
