We all know the 870's reputation for reliability, but I want to hear about your personal 'indestructible' examples.
What's the round count on your oldest/still-kicking 870? Any that survived particularly brutal conditions (neglect, extreme weather, decades of hard use) without major repairs? Bonus points if it still has all original parts.
Mine's a 1987 Wingmaster with ~15k shells through it - only needed a new extractor last year after I foolishly ran it bone-dry for a duck season. The bluing's worn to bare metal in places, but it still cycles smoother than some new guns.
