Hello all,
I’m currently looking at adding a shotgun to my collection (yes, I know I should probably already have one).
I plan to mostly hunt partridge but occasionally go duck or goose hunting.
What would you recommend under $350 (if possible)? (I know it’s a cheap price but I’m also not a super hardcore hunter as I work a lot unfortunately)
Budget do it all hunting shotgun?

I don't hunt but I'm pretty sure if you want to hunt partridge, ducks and geese, you will need different barrels or at least chokes. This forum is about the 870 and for $350 I don't think you will be able to do all that.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Totally understand the budget! For under $350, you might want to check out the Mossberg 500 or the Maverick 88. Both are solid, reliable, and versatile enough for upland and some waterfowl hunting with the right choke and loads. The Maverick 88 especially is often overlooked but gives you great value for the money. Just make sure whatever you get is chambered for 3" shells if you're going after geese. Good luck!
