870 express upgrade

Hey all
I’m new hear, but am a big fan of the 870’s, and want to doll one up for home defense, looking for a mag tube extension first off .
Any brand recommendations ?

Read thru the posts here in "Accessories and Upgrades" Lots of good info. the name brands are good, Remington, Vang Comp, GG&G, Wilson Combat, Scattergun Technologies. Are you interested in just functionality or does fit and finish enter into the equation? Some of the cheaper ones will work just fine but the bluing or finish won't match and the machining may be a little rough.

How long of an extension do you want? Do you care if it extends beyond your barrel?

I have a Vang Comp, really nice and usually on the expensive side. I got a deal as I sent my barrel into them for some work and got a discount.

Hi, you can choose one of many brands: Vang, Choate, Wilson Combat, Nordic, etc.

I bought the CHOATE one others were very expensive ( IF YOU CAN FIND THEM ) & mine works great no hang up's in around 250+ rounds.

I also polished the inside of my Mag. tube & the extension tube so ?

I also used a Sanding Drum on a Dremel for removing the dimples, just dremeled them off from the inside, NO SWAGING TOOL NEEDED.

Didn't break through the tube either but do it as you wish ?
