Most of the stuff I see is 7 to 10+ years old, especially after the first page.

It's a one-topic (870-oriented) forum. And many other places cover the 870 as well as many other models. But some folks like the slow pace.

I just joined this forum and I'm sorry to read about the spammer problem. I am a moderator on another forum which is also powered by phpBB, so I am familiar with this format, which is nice. Maybe I can be of some assistance in the future.

I only use this site for pertinent info needs- 870's and SG's in general. So I'm only on here when required. Otherwise I just pop in every few months to have a look.

Most gun forums that allow unrelated discussions like "current event's" or politics, etc to attract post traffic turn into complete shitshows. Just look at AK Files or AR15.com. Those are full of shit-stirrers, kooks, and other dorks with nothing better to do than start arguments online all day. Plus admins on those higher traffic sites tend to be self-proclaimed "forum cops."

But some folks like the slow pace.

And I'm one of them.
