Hello,
Just picked up a 1985 870. I'm working on restoring it.
As you can see from the pics - four drilled/tapped holes on the top of the receiver.
Haven't been able to identify a mount or rings that required 4 holes.
Found pics of a Da-Mar mount - looks like that required 6 holes (?!).
Maybe a set of direct attach rings similar to what Talley has for Browning X-Bolt Rifles?
Guy at the store suggested an old red-dot. Seems like a lot of holes for a red-dot; plus 2.5inches front to back?
Thanks in advance.
Four Hole Receiver Mount?
Re: Four Hole Receiver Mount?
New Guy issue. Didn't edit post correctly- If anyone has any idea what required this type of mount any info is appreciated.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
