I would greatly appreciate recommendations for a TSA-compliant case for a Remington 870 with a 20-inch barrel.
Thank you.
TSA-Compliant Hard Case
Re: TSA-Compliant Hard Case
Read the TSA rules, and call both airports. TSA tends to follow a "what do I feel like today" mechanism of making it easy or hard to get thru Security. Pelican makes great cases, and provided this info:

Other advice: get to the airport extra-early. If you're rushing, they obviously hold you up. Don't use TSA-keyed locks. Once you get in, nobody should need to access your firearm. I believe TSA requires 4 locks and that no part of the gun be "touchable" by prying up a corner even if locked. And me? I always carry extra locks AND a printout of the actual TSA rules. Surprising how often a TSA supervisor won't go by the rules, but by their own interpretation. So don't be afraid to call for their supervisor.
