Hi gang, just thought I toss this in the mix.
After the horrible experience with the Plano hard gun cases (three out of three broken in the store !)
I opted for a soft bag and shopped around a while to find a good fit for my (future) needs.
Found the bag (42”) by CONDOR / Condor Outdoor.
Price wasn’t bad and the fit is pretty good, would likely be better if my light wasn’t side mounted on the barrel, but not a big issue.

Re: Shotgun Bag
it seems reasonably well padded, I wouldn’t throw it on the ground with guns in it, but little bumps and bangs going in or out of car or truck it should handle just fine.
Padding and bag new I can hold out at one end a it doesn’t bend in half (empty) so fairly stiff. Time will tell.
Re: Shotgun Bag
Palmetto State Armory has one very similar to that (36") on sale for $40 today. I have one that I carry a 12 ga bullpup in and I like it. Love the pockets!

Re: Shotgun Bag
you ever sorted things out with that light strike issue??? I've seen similar problems when the hammer spring starts to wear out—have you checked that? Also curious if switching back to factory parts helped or if you found another fix that worked better.
