3rd party clamp work on nordic extension?

I've read on here that the nordic extension is a different diameter than the rest. But they don't make a 20 gauge clamp as far as I can see (few do!). Will a 3rd party clamp fit on nordic's 20 gauge extension?

I'd say probably not. The Nordic brand mag tube is a large diameter tube. It may be hard to find a non Nordic clamp that will work, especially for a 20 ga.

I use the Magpul on my 12 gauge, works fine with the Nordic extended mag tube. I dont know if it will work with the 20 though.

I tried it with cdm’s 20 gauge clamp, it didn’t fit, the issue didn’t seem to be with the clamp grabbing the wider diameter of the nordic extension as much as the fact that the wider diameter didn’t allow enough space between the barrel and tube for the clamp to connect to itself.
