Resurfacing Aguila Mini Shotshell Topic

From what I've read on the Internet over the years, the Aguila mini shotshells don't cycle well in the 870. I bought 500 of them for KSG plinking and was pleasantly surprised to find that they cycle reliably in my newer 870. Yay! Wonder if something has changed with the shells over the years? Figure nothing has changed with the 870 home defense.

I'm wondering if that early belief was just colloquial opinion that the shorter shell would have trouble cycling since there'd be a lot more room around it to jumble around during the cycling operation, and perhaps wasn't based on true tests? If they work for you then I say Good-on-ya and shoot'em all!

ps - Where did you get so many? All I ever see is the 20 round sort of "demo packs" and you can't shoot a round of trap with only 20?

Hazmat fees kill us up here, plus there's no "ground" shipping so the extra time to barge shipments makes it silly unless we get a huge group buy.

South East Alaska panhandle. The part sticking down that by all rights should be Canadian, and the cruise ship tourists ask if we take American money. No roads in or out, everything comes by airplane or by inland container barge. USPS 2nd Day air has an asterix in the text that says "not in Alaska" as does almost every mainstream commercial such as Subway's $5 footlongs. Still, crass commercialism aside, the scenery is unparalleled and the lack of roads means serious crime is zero because you can't run anywhere.

What part of Cali are you in? I spent some years in Monterey. Very beautiful, very scenic, but the politics killed me...
