forend slide/tube differences

forend slide/tube differences
is the forend tube specification the same for all models or are they different? I was thinking of getting another for a few spare forends I have laying around so I do not have to remove the nut and reinstall if I decide to change it up.... any info on this? my current receiver is an express mangnum serial ends in an M

Yes there is a difference. New and old style,

You can use either one as long as you use the correct bolt slide

The pre and post ‘85 carrier bolts (cut at the bottom) are different as well.
