And... Any suggestions, as to brand?
Lastly, any suggestions on a shell carrier for that Choate stock?

Its not the stock you have to worry about its the forend when it comes to shell carriers. If its the black shorter Choate forend you wont have any clearance issues. Go with Mesa Tactical for a shell carrier.
