The first is my 4th-gen Glock 31 chambered in .357 SIG. I keep it loaded with Remington Golden Saber Bonded 125-grain hollowpoints.

The second is a Kel-Tec PF-9, which is a neat little 9x19 pocket pistol slim enough to carry comfortably in any outfit. I carry Cor-Bon 115-grain +P JHPs in this gun.

My wife's M1 carbine... Best handgun of WWII by far! Designed to replace 1911A1 and SMGs, but instead augmented those.

I have to add that my wife greatly prefers shooting pistols while I favor rifle and shotgunning. She's got a bunch of pistols and revolvers, including some relatively unusual surplus pistols like the Spanish Astra M1921 and Yugoslav Zastava M57 and so on.

Wow, those are some unusual guns. Where do y'all find ammo for those? I usually have enough trouble finding .357 SIG.

This is a bit difficult to find.
We mostly use 1960s-1970s Berdan-primed Spanish/Toledo Sta Bárbara military ammo. She's stashed away some CCI Blazer that is loaded with 124gr. hp bullets.

7.62x25mm Tokarev:
She got some big spam can of Romanian PPSh41 ammo. It is corrosive, and not very high quality, but there is a boat load of it!

Ironically, I've been going to gun shops that are completely stripped bare of ammunition, and oddly enough, the only cartridges still available are .38 special [but not .357 mag!], .327 Federal magnum [there's even dust on the boxes!] and .45 gap and .45 acp--the latter surprised me, One store had 9mm on the shelf because they limited two boxes per customer.

I'm with you there. While .380 ACP is a whole lot better than chucking rocks, and it's not nearly as underpowered as the skip-off-the-skull-if-the-shot-isn't-straight-on .25 ACP, it just doesn't have enough punch to offer consistent terminal performance with the expanding bullets used in modern defensive ammunition. .380 ball ammo is plenty deadly, but doesn't transfer enough energy to be a good stopper.

9x19 is essentially the same size, but offers a good deal more power, and is less expensive than the .380 ACP (or 9x17). Anyone who can handle a little .380 ACP gun should have no issue with standard-pressure 9x19, and the best +P loads don't kick much harder. The only advantage the shorter cartridge has is the small size of the blowback-action firearms chambered for it; but these days, there are plenty of pocket-pistol options offered in 9x19, as well as larger calibers.
