18" Barrel & Wilson +2 Mag Extension - Will It Be Flush?

I’m pretty sure this has been answered here somewhere before, but couldn't find a prior topic and thought I’d ask again.

I have a Remington 870P with the factory 18” barrel, and was wondering if a Wilson +2 mag extension will sit flush with the end of the barrel.

Would anyone who has any experience with this set-up post a photo of their shotgun?

No, it will be about 1" shorter than the barrel

The Wilson Combat +2 extensions are designed to be flush with standard 18" barrels. You might actually have an 18.5" barrel though (some barrels labeled as 18" are really 18.5"), in which case the WC +2 will be about half an inch back from the muzzle.

First off, I want to thank you guys for posting this info. Synchronizer, your review was excellent and I ended up bookmarking it and reading it twice. Well done!!

I measured the barrel from the face of the closed bolt, and it does, in fact, measure 18" so the Wilson +2 mag extension should sit flush with the end of the barrel nicely.

I'll post a photo when the installation is done.

The Wilson +2 mag extension arrived yesterday and fit perfectly.

Very smooth assembly with no problems at all ... a "highly recommended" addition.
