Just picked up an 870 Magnum Camo Special Purpose with adjustable choke and shoulder strap this week. I traded at a local gun shop and really didin't know what shotgun I wanted, so the owner steered me toward this one. It sounds like quite an iconic piece and hope to get a lot of years out of it.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your first shotgun. The 870 is very durable and arguably the most flexible pump gun on the market. It's an excellent choice for anything a pump shotgun is suited for, and it'll last long enough for your grandkids to enjoy it you take care of it.
