I like the Magpul. It's got good features and can be used in either 1 or 2 point mode, and it's a simple design for my simple mind.

Re: One-point, two-point and three-point slings
what about the weapon retention systems that hold your shotgun at ready to the side still utilizing the one point sling?

Alright, folks, help me out here.
Who has a single point sling attachment on a recoil reducing Knoxx stock? What sling attachment plate did you use? Is this even possible?

My friend uses following sling attachment without any problems:TFuller wrote:Alright, folks, help me out here.

I think you can install any sling attachment you have, it will work with Knoxx stock.

Re: One-point, two-point and three-point slings
Never really got into the tactical sling stuff. A good old two point canvas hunting sling suits my purposes. But seeing the picture for the first post raised a question regarding single point slings. I've heard that if you aren't careful with it dangling there, there's a good chance you'll rack yourself in the nether regions. Anyone do this to themselves or know anyone who has? Is it as common a problem as some make it seem?
Re: One-point, two-point and three-point slings
Let me clarify my need and desire for the single point sling.
See how the guy in the above picture is standing there? That's what I want it for. Standing around. Its not for actual tactical use. When I'm standing at a range with no bench and need two hands free to pat myself on the back for being awesome (just kidding), I don't want to lay the weapon on the ground repeatedly. I don't plan on using a sling in an HD situation as an immediate necessity. Just for ease at the range.

I like to 3-gun...this isn't mine, but it's almost identical to what I use for ease of use with my long guns...and everything else I have with me.TFuller wrote:Let me clarify my need and desire for the single point sling.

There are companies that make them for $150-$200, or you can do what I did- buy a baby stroller off ebay or at a garage sale for $20, then spend $40 or so on ATV gun holder attachments and install them on the stroller yourself. Works great at the range, keeps my guns off of the ground, and keeps both my hands free.
