Need help with problem

I was shooting my Rem 870 Express Synthetic 6+1 today. I kept having this problem with shells not popping into the chamber when I pumped it, and also some got jammed while ejecting. I was using Federal Game load #8 birdshot and Winchester all purpose bird shot.

This gun is fairly new. How do I fix this? Thanks.

I think the problem might be that the follower is getting stuck and the shells are not being pushed up. I also had a problem that I cannot always load six shells in the magazine, so I am pretty sure it is the follower. I already ordered a new one.

Yes, this looks like you have found the problem. This happens with stanard follower.
