Very nice work, you did an excellent job. How often do you shoot it? Did you cut the vent rib barrel to 18" or buy it that way? I Like it very much.

Excellent 870!!! Question for ya though. How do you like that Hogue stock? I know that's the Shorty but what I'm saying is how do you like the grip??? I purchased a Remington ShurShot and put it on my Combat 870 but after doing so I still think I want a Hogue. The shurshot works good and is very comfortable but there is just something about the Hogue that keeps calling me.

I liked the hogue, but I found that it was a dust magnet and the 13 inch lop was uncomfortable. I loved the cheekweld though.

Nice man, looks great. Hey what kind of flashlight mount is that. I have been mounting mine off the forend and it seems to throw off my aim and shooting and that light clamp off the mag extension tube would work if it would fit my Remington 2+ shot extension kits tube. I have been looking for something to get my light off the forend. So thank you for the reply with the name of that light mount. Again nice build, I have a ATI Talon butt stock with the scorpion hand grip. Its 6-postions adjustable. I have myself thought about getting a Magpule stock and replacing that ATI, I like the ATI it works.

Thats a great looking Shotgun! I like the short Hogue rear Stock too.

Hey 12GAFun I had a Mount like that, i can't remember the brand though. I know it cost me $25 and was made of strong aluminum, and they are still sold almost everywhere. The just slip over the Mag Tube and the wrench and screws are included. I found this one real quick, it's a dif brand, but looks exactly the same as what i had. They work great and are a great choice to get your light off the for end. I found this one on Amazon.

Thanks I went out and picked one up, like it so far.

I have also thought about putting back on my original stock. I know I should have shot the shotgun before changing it. I wish I did because that would have gave me a idea of what it needed and what it did not. Well that's to late, it would not be much to just switch out stocks, just about 10-15min. Here are some pics of my finished 870 with the new light mount. Here is also a pic or 2 of the same shotgun when I first got it.
