Yeah, that breacher choke lines up nicely, the extension may get a little dirty from gas and powder residue, but you shouldn't have any functional problems.

Is that a CDM Gear clamp?

Synchronizor, the clamp is CDM's BMT model.

Thanks, ponycarman. The magazine extends beyond the breacher maybe a 1/16".

I am wanting to ad the Nordic component plus one magazine extension but I haven't seen any added to the model 870 that I have. My only concern is if the plus one extension will make the magazine tube longer than the barrel. Or will it be flush?

Here is the model I have

The MXT series will add 3.1" to 3.5" (according to their website).

Those barrels have about two inches between the front of the guide ring and the muzzle. Anything longer than that will extend past the muzzle, but apart from being a possible cosmetic issue, that's not a big deal. The end of the extension may get dirty, but no +1 is going to stick out far enough to get hit by shot.

Is it the model with the standard 4-round magazine tube, or the single-piece 6-round tube?

Does your 870 use a plastic spring retainer and an internal-ratchet magazine cap, or does it have a locking detent in the barrel guide ring? If the barrel doesn't have a detent in the guide ring, an unclamped extension may work its way loose under recoil. I have a WC +1 extension, and I have to keep tightening it when I use it with my barrel that doesn't have a detent.
