My 870s are all in different configurations depending on their intended purpose. I am a firm believer in another gun to do a different job than changing parts around on one.
Since this pic was taken a few have added mag extensions commensurate with the times we live in!

Re: Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
My turkey hunting set up. It’s my 870 express 20 gauge with a 26” barrel with an extended truglo turkey choke just a basic bead site. I’m using 1oz #5 Winchester or 1oz #6 federal heavy field loads 2.75” since it’s what I have and patterns decent out to 40 yds. Hoping to get my first turkey this fall after unsuccessful seasons last fall and this spring.

The metal is green and the stocks are tan. The metal parts and stocks I finished with Cerakote.

Re: Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
The boy wanted to "restore" one if the pair of 870 Police Magnums I got from an auction. Both are/were pretty rough. I got them for cheap years back. As many of you are aware, I've taken them out and decided the father/sn project would be fun. He LOVES the original look. Here is where we are today! I'd love to find an original corncob forend for a police, but she is coming along nicely. Comments? Thoughts?

I'll ceracoat all the metal when my version is done. This what I got in the mail maybe 5-6 year ago.

Re: Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
I’ve been doing some modifications to my 870DM. Replaced hardwood furniture with Magpul stock and forend, added threaded barrel and Carlson breecher muzzle brake, and nightstick light. Today found a Shurshot stock and forend at reasonable price. Keeping Magpul forend but going to replace the Magpul with the Shurshot stock.
