Nice-looking builds.
What rear sight is that?
Is that a sling stud on top of that stock's comb?

Wow! what an eye !!! You saw that !!!! I think its an ameriglo or metrolight fiber optic sight. It came in a set. Both front & rear, but in the attached pic, only rear sight is installed. I'll get back to you later this evening with the product code.
Yes !!! A stud on top of the comb. I wear my VTAC two point sling that way when hunting wild boar. The gun is very cofortable to wear that way, and you can quickly shoulder the gun & shoot from that position as soon as the boar pops out of the wood line !!!! The stud does not even get close to bothering you whist getting a cheek weld when shooting - it is far behing your cheek. When not hunting you can transition the gun to your back & walk the woods. Many instructional vids on youtube for this technique.

So what do you think of the trigger pin assembly held Picitini receiver rail? Is it a Mesa Tactical? Interested in picking up there 6-shot sidesaddle with Picitini rail from them. Just wasn't sure how well a red dot or even back up irons (if I ordered the 20" model, which I considered) would hold zero when not "tapped" directly into the receiver. I've heard great things about Mesa products thus far...teo2000 wrote:I just love to play dress-up with my Barbie doll !!
Re: Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
Agreed !!!! The Mesa Tactical products are great !!! In the pic above, I am ussing the OEM Remington saddle mount. I have seen the Mesa Tactical Picitini Rail with the buit-in 6-shot sidesaddle - Simply fantastic, go for that - its the best !!!! Both Mesa & Rem saddle mounts are very sturdy and will hold zero. The whole base aligns with the receiver, so there is no movement. Dont overfasten the screws going through the receiver of the trigger pin assembly - it will deform the receiver.
Iron sights on a 870 always hold zero cause both the front & rear site are located on the barrel. Even if the barrel moves (which it does NOT!) in the receiver, the sights are always aligned.
Spend a little more but get something worth the $$$. Go for the Mesa Tactical Picitini Rail with the buit-in 6-shot sidesaddle - you wont regret it. Get something else and you might.
