new 870 express jamming

Do they look like anything that would come out of the gun- anywhere? Because I cant find a place for em!

There are some pins in the trigger plate assembly, but mine doesn't have anything that looks like that. There is a plunger pin in your bolt behind the extracter that's similar:

That plunger can't just fall out, though. Also, I can't think of any place in the gun that uses two identical pins like that.

Here was the culprit! Blackhawk emailed me back right away and sent this photo. The tech told me that he had never heard of the pins falling out, but he offered to replace the part for free! The pins are on the upper portion of the stock, I think they are just there to provide some reinforcement for the recoil reduction-action. I think I will just put a little adhesive on these guys to help them stay in place. Thanks for all your input on this everyone.

Glad you got it figured out. But this is a good example of why not to have moving parts in a stock. Anything that can fail eventually will.
