I first finger-banged my muzzle with some 400 grit paper, evenly all around to preserve the precise pattern of my cylinder bore. :?

Then I finished it off with drill with a smooshed 12 ga brush with 000 steel wool. Bead post is now smooth and even.

This is a very important step. Your epoxy cannot compete with pellets at velocity. I suspect It'll knock off your sight.

I’ve often thought about on of these sights, but my barrel has a ribbed back , so the bottom of the sight would need to be flat instead of curved. Wondering if the sight base could be flattened somehow without effecting its usefulness
