Sounds like that was the fix. Please tell us how it does after your next range session.

Looks like I'll be ordering a non-MIM extractor as well for my 870 Synthetic Express. Same problem, every 3 or 4 rounds and the extractor had the shell stuck in the chamber. Sometimes I could pull hard enouph on the forearm to release the extractor and shell. Twice I had to take the barrel off to remove the expended casing.

I also have had problems like this, I guess I got lucky, I just polished my chamber and all is well. Mine was with Factory Federal ammo, but once reloaded, it seems to be no longer an issue with the shells? Keep um slicked up!

Do you have a link for the part from Brownell's, or a part number? Thanks.
I have had similar issues.

The above link should work.

Easy as pie. It takes about three minutes (depending on how fast you can get the bolt out).rdsmith3 wrote:Thanks very much. Is it difficult to replace?PRegner wrote:http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1074 ... /Extractorrdsmith3 wrote:PRegner

Ran another 200 rounds of the problematic low-brass shells without a hitch this morning. I'm confidant that my 870 is once again digesting anything I feed it. I'm a happy man.
