There's nothing wrong with your gun just as it is. Not having a removable choke is just one less thing you have to screw with and maintain. And for general purpose having fun and home defense it will be just fine. I've played with guns all my life (mid 50's and going downhill) and I just bought my first gun with a removable choke today! Gotta keep up with my son I guess. Either way, good luck and most important have fun.
