Difference between normal 870 and express
Difference between normal 870 and express
Looking to do some turkey hunting this spring and I was wondering if any turkey choke that would fit an 870 would also fit my 870 express?

The model of 870 that you have doesn't matter - it's just whether or not your barrel is threaded for chokes. On the vast majority of 870s, the barrels are easily interchangeable.
Some new Express Tacticals come with a one-piece 6-round mag tube, barrels that fit onto 4-round 870s will not work for that particular version. Other than that, you're good to go.

There are two choke systems used on (modern) Remington shotguns, Rem Choke and ProBore. All 870 barrels that are factory-threaded use Rem Chokes. Unless you got your Express used, and the previous owner had a gunsmith custom-cut the barrel for something else, any Rem Choke tube in the correct gauge will be compatible with your shotgun.
