Anyone that plans to get serious about busting clays would do themselves a great favor by seeking professional training before the bad habits set in. It is so much easier to learn the right way in the beginning, than fighting bad habits and eventually overcomming them. Yes it will cost a little money, but your scores and averages will jump faster this way.

When I competed in trap, I was shooting 10-12 boxes of ammo per week for practice, not including what I shot in regestered events. I sat through training by Phil Kiner and Kay Ohye, both trapshooting legends who have been there and done that. This valuable information helped me raise my average by 5 birds. The instructor will watch you shoot, point out what you are doing wrong or right, and give you information to better your shooting. Phil Kiner video tapes each shooter and then during the playback asks why you missed this shot. The usual reason is lifting the head, often the shooter does not think they "peeked" or stopped the swing, but you can see it plain as day on the video.

Turn the ego off, let your mind become a sponge, and learn to be a great shooter. It works.

This is an ok simulator, not great. I bought one 9 years ago. They are still friggin expensive. I can't say I would recommend one.
