Aftermarket sights for stock rifle sights on my Rem 870

Post by rhythmgod »

Hey guys!
I have a 20' rifle sighted barrel and am looking for some nice aftermarket sights for it. What are some good ones? And/or are there Ghost ring sights I can use to replace the old ones?

I have the same barrel as you and tried 2 sets of the aftermarket sights: Ameriglo Tritium Night Sights and Ghost Ring Firesight Set.

Here are blog posts about sights:

Hope it will be useful for you.

Ghost Ring Firesight Set is good but easy to brake. Ghost ring sight doesn't have protective ears and it was broken when my shotgun has fallen on the floor.

I use Ameriglo Tritium Night Sights for about 2 years and really happy with them.

Especially Vang Comp Systems / Wilson Combat sights, really like how they look.

I have an 18.5" rifle sighted barrel and use Trijicon brand night sights. They look exactly like the Ameriglo sights in the previous thread. You cannot go wrong with them.

I too have a 20with rifle sights. The only thing ive done is put on a TruGlo Fiber optic front sight instead of the brass blade. works very well for me as I couldn't see the front blade all that well.
