Nice neat design. I prefer the option with the extended operation switch. Thank you. :)

Cool product. I've been wondering why more aftermarket companies haven't offered flashlights that thread directly onto the magazine. It's such a nice, streamlined way to mount a light.

I especially like the versions that incorporate a magazine extension.

A couple questions though; what barrel diameters are the sling plates sized for? Different 870 barrels have different outer diameters, so these may not fit properly on all guns (this is also an issue with other plate-style sling attachment points). Can the flashlight/extension be assembled without them? Also, is there a barrel clamp available for these, or will standard clamps be compatible?

Wish they made a +5 extension tube, looks a good idea

I'm always for options, but people usually only run extensions that long on competition or hunting guns, where a flashlight isn't needed. With the flashlight on the end, a +5 version of this design would probably match - if not exceed - the length of a 28" barrel. There likely isn't be enough demand to justify the cost of manufacturing.

Unfortunately I'm from the UK where the minimum barrel length allowed in 24"

Well, if you ordered a few parts from Remington and had access to a lathe, it wouldn't be tough to build a custom-length mag tube spacer or extension for one of the non-extension flashlights. You might also be able to modify an existing extension to accept the flashlight, but that would probably be more complicated.
