The A-Zooms are great for function checks, demonstrations, and dry-firing. I own them in every caliber I have guns for. They're very easy to tell apart from real ammo, and are very durable.

The problem with the shotgun snap caps (the 12ga ones, at least), is that the "precision CNC machined" rims are actually the wrong diameter. I don't know if the designers misread the specs or what, but I bought two packs separately and all of the rims were too small. This makes them double-feed from the magazine relatively frequently. Due to this, and the feel of the aluminum, they're not a good choice for serious practice.
