1.75" 12ga shells
recently saw demo of KSG shooting 1.75" shells. Do these work? Are they reliable? Can you still buy them? in Canada?

Tried them. They don't cycle well. You have to hold the gun at a 45 degree angle to get them to work and then flick it too.

Re: 1.75" 12ga shells
Those mini-shells are so much shorter than the minimum crimped length specified for 2.75" 12ga ammo (which is what guns will be designed to handle) that they don't cycle reliably in most repeating shotguns. In the 870, they're short enough that they can sometimes turn around on top of the shell carrier, jamming the gun.
If you just want play around with them the range, they're fine; but they're not something you'd want to trust for defense or any other critical role.
