Trigger modifications

Is it legal to change your trigger to where it fires when you close the bolt if your holding the trigger down? WW1 trench guns were set up this way. :?:

Legal, yes, but there's not much practical benefit to it aside from range fun. Plus, modifying a trigger group and disabling safety features in it is not usually a very wise thing to do.

It all depends on how you train with it. I was used to a M37 DSPS I can do it accurately. But the weapon is only as capable as the operator.

All modern manufacture firearms have a disconnector feature, I wouldn't train with something that would be different from 99% of the guns you come across. Nor would I modify something to achieve this other than restoring a "relic" or some other collector type weapon.
