Wilson/Scattergun Tech +1 extension (12ga)

Bought this and thought it would be easy to remove the sling plate , well not so much. Anyway didn't turn out to be the look I was after, needs to be painted or duracoated as once you remove the sling plate and force the retaining ring off there is no finish...?? Got in a hurry and got a few small nicks / dings in it, hit it with some cold blue for the time being. Probably be good for a beater project gun or a duracoat project. Includes extension / spring / follower. For $10 more I'll throw in a very lightly used Nordic follower that I have left over.

What's the overall length of the extension, and is the base cut out to engage the locking detent ball on barrels that have it?

I'm just heading off to bed for the graveyard shift tonight and the gun is tucked away in the safe until tomorrow. I will post a precise measurement and include a photo of the base, I believe it is dimpled or ball milled on the bottom for engagement.
