870 shot shell carrier Screw size

Hi,
im trying to find a side saddle for my Remington 870 tactical. The TacStar Shotshell carrier i just received doesn't fit... the screws are to fat/holes in the gun to small. Is this model of 870 different from the older models?

The Tacstar sidesaddle for the 870 uses a 10-32 screw in the front, and a 1/4-28 screw in the back. I'd check the product's packaging, and make sure you didn't get the version meant for a different shotgun on accident.
