Talk about other firearms: rifles, pistols etc.

Nice LaRue, almost got one but went Noveske instead. This is a "Project Ares", changed out the sopmod stock for the UBR.

This is my newest build. Its a palmetto state defense lower. This weekend was the grand opening of a local palmetto state armory shop. Bunches of stuff on sale. Grabbed a bolt carrier group and lower build kit.

Its pretty basic right now but I will update some stuff after while. The kit went together pretty much as good as the last one I got from them. Only issues I have this go round is the mag releasr button is plastic and the other was metal. Also not sure if this is a problem with the bolt hold open or the lower, but it is very tight. And with my upper installed it won't lock the bolt open without some help. The lower might have thicker anodizing or something. Not sure really. It mught just need to be worked in a bit.

Now for the other part of my purchase. This one was a great deal but almost killed me to buy lol. Also here are some current pics of my other rifle.

Been looking at optics for my other ar15 and ak. These are the cheapest aimpoint I believe but still a large investment for me. So far so good though.

Love the Aimpoint. Going to be picking up a "PRO" myself. Nothing beats Aimpoint although Trijicon is right along side.

I'm still deciding on my upper although I've had the lower built for a while now. The lower is a Stag Arms with a spikes parts kit and an ALG Combat Trigger. Also has a hogue grip, complete Damage USA chrome silicon lower spring kit and buffer spring, complete with a Spikes T2 buffer & spikes tube covered with Magpul's new fixed CTR stock (fuckin New York State!) It also has a Mako well grip, KNS Gen 2 trigger pins, a Magpul B.A.D. Lever, and the buffer tube plate is a S.L.A.P. plate from ikickhippies mounting a SOE 1 point bungee.

Very nice!

I have to get to the range and sight in the aimpoint but so far I like it. A local shop had a pretty good sale on them for their grand opening. Probably the best price I had seen on one. I was very close to passing on it because of the expense. But I'm glad I didn't :)
