AR's Anyone? ;)

Post by gingerkid »

Wanted to share with y'all my better half's LaRue Tactical AR-15. I really enjoy shooting this gun! When he received the AR-15, LaRue sent a lot of awesome extras to him from hats to a cool LaRue armadillo bottle opener. They also sent him some LaRue Armadillo steak rub. :P

Your wish is my command :)

These are the most current pics I have. I have installed a magpul moe pistol grip since these were taken. I built it with pallmetto state armory parts. I'm very happy with it. No issues at all.

Doing a touch under an inch @ 100yards at the moment. Few more bits arriving soon (inc. new scope, heavier projectiles, etc) to hopefully get that a bit smaller.

Thanks! Heavy beast to carry around all day though... I'm liking both your lightweight builds a lot - might have to find an excuse to make one in .300 Blackout if AR parts stop being so hard to get hold of :)

Thanks. My rifle is pretty light. I need to weigh it. But I haven't got any optics for it yet. I have a burris scope mount but I'm not sure which scope yet. I'm thinking a 2x7 for the scope. But I'm not sure if a red dot would also be good to get. I haven't had any experience with optics and I don't have a huge budget to pull from haha.
