Hi everyone,
I currently own an 870 Police Magnum, and recently purchased an 870 Magnum from a police trade-in. I'm curious if there are any significant differences in construction or performance between the two versions?

Depends.
If you have both of them can you see any difference? Is the finish the same?
There are variations in Police Magnums, they can be an SBS with a 14" or 16" barrel or come with a 18.5" barrel. The 870 Magnum came with lots of variations in barrel length, Express or Wingmaster, etc.
