rear sight question

Post by bagger1 »

First, I am new to this forum I acquired a LE 870 turn in. It has an adjustable rear sight. The top part of the sight is missing. (buck-horn) is what I would call it.
Can I get a new / used (buck-horn)?
Can I get the whole rear sight ? Also I don't see how it is attached.

Where can I go for rear sight. I have looked at Gunbroker , Brownells I see replacement barrels only

You can get a complete or just the small parts from Gunparts.com. Looks like they have most the parts in stock.

Thanks
They (Numrich Gun Parts) have what I was looking for. I had forgotten about them, I believe they acquired parts from different makers years ago.

Thanks again

For replacing the missing buck-horn on your LE 870 rear sight, you might want to try checking with specialized parts suppliers like MidwayUSA or Numrich Gun Parts. They often carry a variety of replacement sights and parts for shotguns. Additionally, if you're unable to find just the buck-horn piece, you might consider replacing the whole rear sight assembly, as some options are available through these sites. A gunsmith might also be able to help with proper attachment and fitting if needed.
